To celebrate OPPO’s continued existence (and to get me passed another crap night at work).
Steak and mash with peppercorn sauce and a glass of Old Speckled Hen (yes it’s a large glass, but still a glass none the less).

That’s a mighty fine looking plate of food there!
I had to work this weekend too. Second shift on a Sunday, in a Hospital is less exciting than watching grass grow.

We’ve got a couple of dozen engineers and staff replacing fridges and freezers, painting the store, fixing the roof, lowering and raising sections of the ceiling, etc... and agency staff that don’t know what work is if it bit them on the arse.

Sounds like M-F for me. The most exciting thing I had to deal with tonight was an Oil Separator failure on a Chiller and an Elevator that refused to go anywhere. If we didn’t have cameras everywhere I would have given Crusty a good cleaning.

Is an elevator that does not move, not just a small room?
If it’s crusty, then you should of gave it a good cleaning anyway.

Very small. Thankfully nobody got trapped..
Crusty is named for his rust holes and flaking body filler. He still goes to work every day with meat locker style air conditioning though. And with newer trucks costing what they do he may be up for a restoration of sorts soon.

I’m off Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Of which Friday is payday and Wednesday my delivery of rump steak, burgers, sausages, etc... (Om nom nom) arrives but I may treat myself to some tomahawk steaks on Friday also.
Oh I thought ‘giving Crusty a good cleaning’ was a euphemism. Lol.

I finally don’t work in grocery stores any more. Now I work at a place where I get free pizza EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. And it’s good pizza, not greasy Dominoes or something.

Ours works on GMT and pretty sure it’s older. Their working day is 9:30am to 4:30pm. Lol.
